The Impact You'll Make

As a Security professional and incident manager, as part of the security operations center team responsible for managing security incidents and problems to protect Danfoss. Coordinate security projects or activities with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborate with incident managers to facilitate stand-up meetings and security incidents, problem management, conduct thorough root cause analyses, capture lessons learned, and ensure effective communication.
• Participate in security investigations by validating scope, impact, and severity, serving as an escalation point for the security incident response process.
• Act as the facilitator for assigned security projects or activities, ensuring efficient planning, execution, and quality stakeholder communication in collaboration with both internal and external partners.
• Lead service areas to drive the implementation and continuous improvement of services.
• Engage with stakeholders to align and implement robust security controls aimed at preventing cybersecurity incidents.
• Utilize threat feeds and perform security assessments of infrastructure and applications, report information security weaknesses, and assist with remediation.
• Liaise with vendors and IT personnel to support the development and maturation of the Danfoss Security Operations Center.

What We're Looking For

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information sciences, or a related field from an accredited college or university is typically required for an IT Senior Security professional.
  • Certification for Security professional is generally preferred. Recognized certifications include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), GIAC, CISM, CCIE, CCNA, or other relevant security credentials.
  • Knowledge:
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Technology is required, including expertise in IT infrastructure as well as applications development or support. Previous experience working in IT Security, Security Operations Center, or Computer Incident Response Team is essential.
    • Candidates should have strong understanding of AI productivity tools and be able to use them to boost work efficiency.
    • Experience with project management and scum master is highly preferred.
    • Candidates should possess comprehensive knowledge of the ITIL framework, ISO27002 information security standards, and incident response processes related to information security.
  • Strong verbal and written English required for effective professional interaction within the IT team and achieving departmental goals.
  • Activity planning and collaboration essential for successful results.
  • Needed for security incident response and risk prevention.
  • Ability to present information clearly in both individual and small group settings.
  • Must be able to investigate incidents, document findings, analyze data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Should maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT security best practices, with curiosity and analytical problem-solving abilities.
