We serve global clients in telecom and datacom industries in providing innovative optical modules and subsystems to support our customers’ next generation networks.

Molex is seeking a Planner to join our Optical Systems Business Unit (OSBU). In this role the successful candidate will be part of a world-class operations team, contributing to product demand, supply, planning, for the next generation of optical connectivity.

What You Will Do

  • Support the Sales & Operations Planning process by providing supply, inventory, and capacity analysis.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Product Management teams to align demand forecasts with supply plans.

  • Coordinate with MFG plants, SCM team, Sales, and Logistics to ensure timely fulfillment of customer requirements

  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align plans and resolve operational issues

  • Identify risks related to capacity, materials, or delivery and proactively communicate and escalate when needed

  • Conduct root cause analysis on supply shortages, delivery misses, and inventory issues, and drive corrective actions.

  • Support schedule changes, order rescheduling, and priority adjustments based on business needs

  • Track key planning KPIs such as on-time delivery, plan adherence, and inventory turnover

  • Analyze demand, supply, and inventory data to optimize stock levels and minimize shortages or excess inventory

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Industrial Supply Chain Management, Data analysis or other technical disciplines

  • 5-year+ experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning, Materials Planning, or Operations Planning.

  • Experience working in a global manufacturing environment and collaborating across multiple regions and time zones

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and make data-driven decisions

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good coordination and cross-functional collaboration ability

  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks

  • Fluent in spoken and written English
