Deputy General Manager, Warehouse & Distribution

The role is responsible for leading end-to-end warehousing and distribution operations to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective storage and movement of pharmaceutical materials and finished goods. The role ensures inventory accuracy, on-time order fulfillment, cold-chain integrity, and regulatory compliance, while optimizing space utilization, transportation patterns, and distribution networks. The role provides senior oversight for receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch, including batch/lot control, expiry management, and returns handling. Strong coordination with supply chain planning, quality, manufacturing, logistics partners, and distributors ensures service excellence, audit readiness, and uninterrupted product availability across domestic and export markets.

Essential Functions:

• Lead warehouse and distribution operations for materials and finished goods

• Ensure inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and reconciliation with system records

• Oversee receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities

• Ensure compliance with GMP, cold-chain, and controlled substance handling requirements

• Optimize storage layouts, space utilization, and material flow

• Govern transportation, freight, and logistics coordination for timely deliveries

• Manage returns, rejections, and expired product handling processes

• Ensure batch, lot, and expiry date control across operations

• Track warehouse KPIs and distribution performance metrics

• Drive quality, audit readiness, and crisis response preparedness

Additional Responsibilities: Education:

• Master Degree (MBA) MBA - Required

Experience:

• 15 years or more in 15+ Years
