Channels & Partnerships Manager
SingaporeFull-timeFinance
Responsibilities
Initial focus: API Partners, and Institutes of Higher Learning & Financial Literacy The Manager – Channels & Partnerships is responsible for originating, building and maintaining profitable, long-term B2B relationships between Tiger Brokers and its partners. The role develops strategic partner plans, identifies growth opportunities, negotiates agreements and manages ongoing relationships with existing and new partners, so that each partnership delivers distribution, brand value and client acquisition for Tiger Brokers Singapore. At the outset, the role will concentrate on two partner segments: API partners, and Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) and financial literacy. The Partnerships team works as one unit – team members cover for one another and rotate across partner segments (including exchanges, product issuers, media, lifestyle and institutional partners) as priorities evolve – so the successful candidate should expect this focus to broaden over time. Initial Focus Areas:
- API Partners
- Originate, onboard and grow partners who integrate Tiger Brokers’ trading and market-data capabilities through our API, such as fintech apps, wealth and advisory platforms, and quantitative or algorithmic trading communities.
- Own the partner journey from commercial discussion to go-live: scope use cases, coordinate with Product and Engineering on integration and testing, and secure Compliance and Legal sign-off on onboarding, client-ownership and distribution terms.
- Conduct partner due diligence before onboarding and ongoing monitoring after launch, covering regulatory standing, brand fit and conduct.
- Track partner performance after launch (activation, funded accounts, trading activity and integration issues) and run regular business reviews to grow each account.
- Partnership – Institutes of Higher Learning & Financial Literacy
- Develop partnerships with universities, polytechnics and other IHLs – including faculties, career offices and student investment clubs – to co-create financial-literacy programmes such as workshops, talks, case competitions and investment challenges.
- Work with Marketing to deliver the firm’s investor-education content and programmes, keeping all material educational rather than promotional and appropriate to the audience, with Compliance review before release.
- Keep all IHL and financial-literacy programmes education-led: they carry no account-opening incentives, referral mechanics or sign-up promotions.
- Explore talent-pipeline opportunities with IHLs, such as internships and industry projects, in coordination with HR.
- Measure impact beyond sign-ups: participation, repeat institutions, content reach, programme feedback and brand sentiment among students and educators. General Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a portfolio of partners by acquiring new partners and growing existing ones.
- Act as the primary point of contact between assigned partners and Tiger Brokers, and cover colleagues’ partner portfolios when required.
- Understand partner business activities and needs, and deliver solutions that keep each relationship mutually valuable.
- Keep up to date with market developments and the competitive landscape, identifying competitor moves and opportunities we can tap into.
- Agree KPIs with partners and internal stakeholders before activation, and report on partnership performance regularly.
- Formulate partner development strategies with Marketing and other relevant teams (including Prestige, Product and Compliance) so that partnerships feed brand, acquisition and client value together.
- Proactively build a pipeline of potential partners, follow up on leads and convert them into active partners.
- Build relationships with industry associations and other institutional stakeholders relevant to Tiger Brokers’ partner ecosystem.
- Actively participate in industry and partner events such as expos, conventions, campus events, training and seminar sessions; a low to moderate level of short-term travel may be involved.
- Host partners and prospects at relevant industry, sporting and cultural events in line with company gifts and entertainment policy, which may include evening and weekend commitments.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of work experience in business development, partnerships or account management in a B2B or B2B2C setup
- Exposure to at least one of the focus areas: API or fintech partnerships, or the education sector; experience engaging institutional stakeholders is an advantage

- Good knowledge of financial markets and brokerage products
- Comfortable in technical conversations – understands how APIs and integrations work and can partner effectively with engineering teams (coding not required)
- Confident managing senior stakeholders, including institutional and academic counterparts
