Product and Process Solutions Lead

About the team:
The Video Safety Operations - Product & Process Solutions team is dedicated to ensuring a safe, reliable, and efficient experience for TikTok users by managing operational excellence by leading demand and supply management, quality management and transition of initiatives of T&S operations. It evaluates and assesses process changes for implementation in T&S Video Safety operations. The team acts as an entry point between TikTok business and T&S Video Safety operations for all requests related to product, policy or process.

Responsibilities

1. Lead the team to manage and optimize the workflow of content platform moderation and quality governance across TikTok features, addressing various needs of content safety operations, and develop moderation delivery strategies to enhance reliability and efficiency, ensuring outputs align with the company's values and safety requirements.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage tasks such as queue creation, migration, and aggregation strategies, coordinating global moderation site resources to ensure smooth implementation of global projects and stable workflow operations.
3. Proactively identify and analyze issues in moderation processes and strategies, complete the full process from planning to execution for quality and delivery process and strategy innovation, enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, and quality, ensuring the fulfillment of both short-term and long-term needs.
4. Lead the team to track global safety operations development trends, implement new demand delivery methods, optimize moderation processes, design automation strategies, and drive continuous improvement in moderation delivery capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or above, with more than 5 years of experience in delivery management and content safety-related work, with at least 2 years managing managers or mentoring leads across locations.
2. Possess good team communication and collaboration skills, excellent project management and partner management abilities;
3. Capable of driving projects involving multiple businesses and roles for smooth progress and implementation;
4. Strong self-motivation, willingness to accept challenges, attention to detail, and pursuit of excellence.
5. Comfortable with technical setup and configuration within internal tooling platforms to ensure smooth operational execution and system readiness, while meeting tight deadline demands.
6. Proficiency in both English and Mandarin as working languages to communicate with stakeholders who are based in mandarin-speaking markets.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with machine learning concepts, LLM applications, or AI/ML product development.
