Occupational Health and Safety Technician I

In this role, you will work directly with the Company's photovoltaic assets, ensuring that every employee, whether permanent or contracted, operates in a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee work activities at power plants and construction sites, authorizing work fronts for critical activities such as working at height and confined space operations.
• Inspect equipment and facilities, suspending operations whenever a serious and imminent risk is identified.
• Support the management of the Internal Commission for Accident Prevention (CIPA), the Fire Brigade, and the Emergency Response Plan.
• Deliver health and safety training programs to employees and contractors.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare statistics, and report performance indicators to the corporate team, including High Potential Incidents (HIPOs).
• Support audits and certification processes related to occupational health and safety.
• Assess contractors in accordance with the company's health and safety requirements for third-party workforce management.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Technical degree in Occupational Health and Safety with active registration with the Ministry of Labor and Employment.
• Basic knowledge of NR-10 and NR-35 regulations.
• Valid Category B driver's license.
• Basic proficiency in office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and email applications.
• Clear and assertive communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and interact with diverse audiences.
• Proactive profile, willing to work in the field and resolve situations independently.
• A bachelor's degree in health and safety-related fields and knowledge of the IUS Natura - Cal 4.0 platform are considered valuable differentiators.
