Environmental and Land Affairs Transmission Analyst I

In this role, you will be at the forefront of operational sustainability. You will ensure that our transmission assets comply with legal requirements, respect the environment, and maintain constructive engagement with the communities where we operate.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage compliance with environmental licensing requirements, using management software and ensuring adherence to ENGIE Group environmental policies.
• Monitor environmental program implementation schedules, assess deviations, and propose corrective actions to maintain the Operation License.
• Supervise environmental and socio-property inspections, validate technical reports, and activate management systems when required.
• Liaise with local stakeholders, including landowners, municipalities, environmental agencies, notary offices, and community associations.
• Support compensation negotiations and right-of-way corridor assessments, in coordination with the corporate Legal and Land Affairs teams.
• Prepare technical specifications for environmental services and monitor procurement processes related to environmental and land affairs activities.
• Identify environmental risks, document lessons learned, and promote best practices among teams, contractors, and consultants.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Sanitary and Environmental Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Biology, or Law.
• Basic knowledge of project management and ISO 14001 standards.
• Familiarity with state and federal environmental legislation, transmission regulations, and legal requirements related to water resources.
• Valid Category B driver’s license and availability for field activities.
• Intermediate English reading and listening skills; verbal communication skills can be further developed.
• Collaborative, resilient profile with strong emotional stability to handle high-pressure and conflict situations.
• A postgraduate degree in Project Management, Environmental Licensing, or related fields is considered a valuable asset.
