RCM Segment Lead

Position Summary

The RCM Segment Lead serves as the primary interface between Business Units, Program Management, Engineering, Operations, and the Regional Category Management (RCM) organization.

This role is accountable for ensuring flawless project execution and successful product launches across assigned business segments. The RCM Segment Lead provides project-level leadership, aligns sourcing activities with business priorities, drives material readiness, and coordinates execution across multiple procurement categories.

The position acts as the communication hub between project teams and RCM, enabling efficient decision-making, issue escalation, and launch readiness

Key Responsibilities

Project Launch Ownership

• Accountable for flawless launch execution across assigned projects.
• Represent the plant for sourcing activities up until handoff from NPD team.
• Drive Clear-to-Build reviews and launch readiness assessments.
• Ensure material readiness supports all project milestones and launch requirements.
• Coordinate low-volume production orders and launch support activities.

Project Interface Leadership

• Serve as the primary point of contact between Business Units, Program Management, Engineering, Operations, and RCM.
• Represent business priorities and project requirements within the sourcing organization.
• Consolidate communication and provide clear status updates to stakeholders

Risk Management

• Identify supply chain risks that could impact project timing or launch readiness.
• Drive mitigation plans with appropriate functional owners.
• Maintain and communicate project risk status, mitigation progress, and escalation needs.
• Lead sourcing risk reviews during project development phases.

Change Management

• Coordinate sourcing support for engineering changes and supplier changes,
• Ensure sourcing impacts are assessed and incorporated into project schedules.
• Facilitate communication across stakeholders when project priorities shift.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or related field.

Experience

• 5+ years experience in sourcing, supply chain, procurement, project management, or new product introduction (NPI/NPD).
• Experience leading cross-functional projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of product development and launch processes.

Skills

• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to influence without direct authority.
• Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent English communication skills.
