DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Work with mechanical design, optics design, RF design, process design and other design team members to output product design with good performance on schedule.

2.Lead Zhuhai engineering team to complete product prototype sample building, Alpha sample building and Beta sample building on schedule.

3.Lead product design validation, and work with other engineering team members to come out solution to improve the design continuously.

4.Lead the trouble shooting for all the R&D samples failure and come out root cause and improvement plan.

5.Output technical production guideline to production engineer and give technical supporting to production engineering in product NPI.

6.Support quality team to complete product qualification and give technical supporting to solve product issue in qualification.

7.Provide technical supporting to module level design to make sure component product design in successfully.

EDUCATION:

REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in optics, electronics or mechanical.

PREFERRED: Master’s degree in optics, electronics or mechanical.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED: 5+ years design experience or product engineer experience on opto-electronics product.

PREFERRED: Design experience of TOSA/ROSA/SOE in transceiver product.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

REQUIRED: • Demonstrated capability to analyse information and solve problem with sound solution.

• Demonstrated good team-work capability and good communication skill.

• Familiar with product development whole flow.

• Familiar with key O/E performance testing scheme.

• Excellent summary and presentation skills in Chinese and English.

• Good at speaking and written English.

PREFERRED: • Familiar with DFM concept.

• Excellent at speaking and written English.
