Head of Sales APAC North

About this Position

In this regional role, you will lead the sales of Consumer Goods Adhesive for APAC North (GCN, Japan & Korea), identify growth opportunities, strengthen distributor and key account partnerships, and support the implementation of commercial excellence initiatives. Working closely with global and regional teams, you will combine strong commercial leadership with market and customer expertise to deliver sustainable business growth, profitability, and operational excellence across the region.

What you´ll do

  • Deliver annual and monthly financial targets across APAC North, including revenue, profitability, margin, market share, forecasting, and business reviews.
  • Lead and execute strategic priorities, business plans, growth programs, and commercial initiatives aligned with regional and global SBU direction, ensuring clear ownership and delivery of key milestones.
  • Build partnerships, strengthen strategic relationships, and engage customers across the Packaging & Labelling, Sports & Fashion market segments including key accounts, distributors, and external stakeholders to support business growth.
  • Lead APAC North management teams, cross-functional leadership teams, and stakeholders to deliver identified business targets, improve execution discipline, and advance the sales and commercial agenda.
  • Develop, coach, and manage the sales organization through performance management, capability building, upskilling programs, and talent pipeline planning.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
  • 12–15 years of sales management experience, including 5–8 years of P&L or commercial leadership responsibility.
  • Experience managing sales and channel organizations in B2B industrial consumables, manufacturing, maintenance, or related sectors.
  • Ability to set a common ambition, create passion in the team, and build a strong performance culture.
  • Entrepreneurial and growth mindset, with willingness to challenge the status quo and drive change.
  • Strong executive presence, stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Digital and e-commerce savvy, with the ability to use data and tools to improve commercial effectiveness.
  • Fluent English required; Chinese language or additional regional language skills are advantageous.
