Job Description: Product Design Engineer is responsible for all phases of the product development, from concept to pre-production, including the multi-disciplinary actions necessary to meet customers’ requirements.

Main responsibilities are:

1. Together with cross function team, perform all related Engineering work such as design concept proposal, technical solutions to meet customer`s requirements in terms of technical performance, schedule, quality, and cost.

2. Liaise with other operational functions in Molex (manufacturing plants, supply chain, quality) to make sure proposed design can go seamlessly in production.

3. Perform all related Engineering work on RFQ, such as analyzing customer requirements and communicating them with Molex global development team.

4. Communicate with Molex laboratory on product validation.

5. Maintain relationships with Engineering organizations of our customers, suppliers.

6. Assist with any quality issues on current production parts including our response to customer concerns/complaints on parts performance.

7. Handle other Engineering activities that are assigned by Engineering Management.

Skills & Experiences

＜Must have＞

? Bachelor’s in mechanical / Electrical / Industrial engineering.

? 3~5 Years+ Experience in connector products Design and development.

? Experience in design and development process of automotive parts from concept to production.

? Good communication skills internally within Molex Group and externally towards Customers and suppliers.

? Experience in 3D CAD software and 2D drawings.

? Computer skills: Power point, Excel.

＜Nice to have＞

? Working experience in design and development of high-speed connector and cable assemblies for automotive industry.

? Working experience with global companies.

Language Skills

English：　Fluent (ability to read, write, and perform basic technical discussions)
